⭐ Today’s Topic // Rapid vs. Sustainable Results

Week after week, people reach out to me wanting rapid weight loss – a QUICK fix

And of course I get it – after all, it’s no fun being at A when you want to be at B?
And everyone wants to see results ?

 HOWEVER 

I am honestly yet to see ANYONE lose weight rapidly and sustain it into the long-term

Yes, aggressive dieting might yield quick results, but it’s almost ALWAYS short-lived.

 Why? 

Because extreme approaches are typically over-restrictive, over complicated, unenjoyable and, hence, ultimately UNSUSTAINABLE

For long-term fat-loss success, we NEED to switch our focus to sustainable lifestyle changes. In order words, forming new habits that DO NOT reduce our quality of life and can be maintained FOREVER

 I’m talking about habits like ⬇️ 

1️⃣ EATING HIGH QUALITY FOODS
Think fruit ?, veggies ?, lean proteins ?, healthy fats ? & whole grains ?

2️⃣ EATING ENOUGH PROTEIN
To feed our muscles, manage hunger levels, and fuel recovery after training

3️⃣ MANAGING OUR FOOD ENVIRONMENT
I.e. mainly having only goal-supportive foods in our kitchen

4️⃣ PORTION CONTROL
All food contains calories – regardless of how healthy it is! So be mindful ?

5️⃣ MEAL COMPOSITION
First think protein and vegetables – and be very mindful of carbs and fats!

6️⃣ MEAL PREPPING
Preparing food in advance gives us total control of our eating

7️⃣ DRINKING ENOUGH WATER
Even mild dehydration can greatly impact performance

8️⃣ CONSISTENCY
We’re not looking for perfection, we’re looking for ‘consistently good enough’

 ⭐ THE HEADLINE ⭐ 
Short-term fixes are exactly that – short term – whereas making sustainable lifestyle changes will set us up for a lifetime of fat-loss & body-shaping success ??
