This is nonsense 🤣

The only way to GAIN body fat is to sustain a calorie surplus

A calorie surplus is when we consume more calories than our body needs ⚖

Whilst it’s certainly true that some foods contain MORE calories than others … 🍕

… there exists NO food NOR drink that directly causes us to gain fat ❌

Since a calorie surplus is the ONLY way to gain body fat, referring to individual foods as “fattening” doesn’t actually make any sense 🤷🏻♂️

Describing foods as “calorific” would be more appropriate …
–
But, rest assured, if there’s no overall calorie surplus, there will be no fat gain 😁
